Our hearts shattered that warm January day knowing that his dumb witted humor would never be heard upon this earth again. Dwight loved to be the one everyone would look at and say " now what the hell is he doing". He saw every day as another chance to build another obstacle to climb. He loved the out doors, hunting, fishing, camping, boating, 4 wheeling, and most of all just sharing his time with the ones he loved. Dwight was always the person that would be first in line to give you a hand when you needed it, just because he thought it was his job to help everyone. He loved being around the kids and making them happy. so many times Dwight went out of his way to assure that the kids got what they wanted. Summer was Dwight's season, he would take the kids 4 wheeling and out to water parks. He loved everyone in his life and never forgot that love even when miles separated it.  He will live on with in us all as we continue our journeys through this life as he waits for us to join him.

FREEBIRD BY LYNYRD SKYNYRD

If i leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For i must be traveling on, now,
'cause there's too many places I've got to see.
But, if i stayed here with you, girl,
Things just couldn't be the same.
'cause I'm as free as a bird now,
And this bird you can not change.
Lord knows, i can't change.

Bye, bye, its been a sweet love.
Though this feeling i can't change.
But please don't take it badly,
'cause lord knows I'm to blame.
But, if i stayed here with you girl,
Things just couldn't be the same.
Cause I'm as free as a bird now,
And this bird you'll never change.
And this bird you can not change.
Lord knows, i can't change.
Lord help me, i can't change

Light a Candle

Light a candle for those we mourn.

Into a new life they will be born.

Do not look for them at the gravesite.

They are somewhere else radiating their beautiful light.

They have gone to a new world where there is no darkness, no pain.

Their light and essence will always remain.

Light a candle for those who have left this mortal place.

They are free to travel through time and space.

When we think of them, they are near.

When we sit in a beautiful garden. Their voices we hear.

When we listen to a divine symphony,

We close our eyes, their faces we see.

Light a candle for they have not really gone.

With each flickering flame, in your hearts they will always belong.
